Exchange students continue to pay their regular Ohio State tuition for the duration of their exchange program.

Room rates (including monthly utilities) are based on the high end of a range of possible costs; the actual cost of a student's housing will vary, and may well be less expensive than what is estimated here.  

Board is an estimate of what a student may spend for meals. 

US citizens are not required to have a visa to enter Germany, but are required to register for a residence permit shortly after arrival. 

Education Abroad Personal Expenses includes the estimated cost for student cell phone and the optional, pre-term German language course.  This estimate is based off of past semesters.  

The Centers for Disease Control can be consulted for recommended vaccines for travel to Germany.
