Responsibilities

Director of International Initiative in the College of Engineering. Plans, develops and administers the College of Engineering global education programs. Provides support services including program advising, scholarship and funding advising and resources, pre-departure orientation and health and safety information. 

Transformational Overseas Experience

I first studied abroad in high school during a summer term, traveling to various cities in France, Italy and England. As an undergraduate, I studied tropical ecology in the Bahamas. After earning my bachelor’s degree, I worked in the Bahamas for three years, then moved to pursue a master's degree. While in graduate school, I studied intercultural communications in Morocco. I lived and worked in Australia and New Zealand most recently, working with students studying abroad. Other favorite travel destinations include Jamaica and Spain. Living and working abroad has been the most impactful experiences in my life on my career and personally.
