Responsibilities

Plans and arranges group travel per university travel policies. Provides budgetary oversight for faculty-led global education programs. Provides support services including program advising and scholarship and funding advising. 

Transformational Overseas Experience

As a Marietta College undergraduate, I spent a semester studying and living with a host family in Seville, Spain. This first international experience established lifelong friendships; increased my cultural self-awareness; grew my confidence and ability to adapt to challenging situations; improved my Spanish language skills, and sparked a desire to explore the world. Since then, I’ve traveled to Asia, South America, Africa and more of Europe, worked as a resident director on Semester at Sea, spent a year volunteering at a children’s home in El Salvador and walked the Camino of Santiago in northern Spain.
