Responsibilities

This role provides leadership within the Systems and Administration Team for the university’s global education programs. Working closely with unit leadership, the position develops and improves processes, supports core systems including Terra Dotta, SIS, and Scholarship Universe, and helps resolve complex academic and financial scenarios.

The role also serves as a key liaison to campus partners, including Student Financial Aid, the Bursar, and the Registrar, ensuring data integrity, policy compliance, and a strong student-first approach to global education.

 

Transformational Overseas Experience

I spent six months in an immersive Japanese language and culture program in Japan during my junior year of undergrad. This study abroad experience was both my first travel requiring a passport and the doorway to a whole new perspective on societal structures, my future career, and myself. Being immersed in the language and culture shifted the way I think and learn so that my Japanese language skills continued to increase significantly through courses upon my return to the U.S., and I went on to focus my educational journey to include Japanese Business courses, a World Religions Minor, and an East Asian Studies Certificate. Upon graduation, I returned to Japan with a full-time job, and my career has been about intercultural communication ever since!
