Responsibilities

Plans, develops and administers a portfolio of global education programs. Provides support services including program advising, scholarship and funding advising and resources, pre-departure orientation and health and safety information.

Transformational Overseas Experience

In the summer between my junior and senior year of undergraduate studies, I was able to participate on a third-party program in Tokyo, Japan.  The experience not only allowed me to strengthen my ability in the target language but also provide me an opportunity to become immersed into new cultures, experiences, and food that I did not even know existed.  The following year, I returned to the same program but as a staff member on an internship, which provided me with a unique perspective into how my own study abroad program operated from behind the scenes.  It was around that time that I decided I wanted to encourage the next generation of students to go abroad and support efforts in international education.
